Raksha Bandhan Celebration
Our school celebrated Raksha Bandhan with warmth and enthusiasm, helping children understand the beautiful bond of love, care, affection and togetherness shared between siblings.
The celebration began with children dressed in colourful traditional attire, creating a cheerful festive atmosphere. To symbolise the spirit of Raksha Bandhan, the girls lovingly tied rakhis on the wrists of the boys representing the special bond between brothers and sisters.
Before tying the rakhi, the children followed the traditional custom of applying kumkum and then tied the colourful rakhis with great excitement. The children also shared smiles and warm wishes, making the celebration meaningful and joyful.
Teachers explained to the children that Raksha Bandhan is not only about tying a rakhi but also about caring for, respecting, supporting and standing by one another. Through this celebration, children experienced the beauty of relationships and the importance of love and mutual respect.
The day concluded on a happy note, with our little ones celebrating the spirit of sibling love, togetherness and cherished relationships.
